The Knights Game Easter Weekend

So I realized that this uploaded all backward. This is the end of my weekend with Jess and Jessica....so you will get the story from the end to the start.

Here Jess is mowing our lawn. I think it just warmed him up for mowing season in WI.

Jessica could not let Jess do all the work, she did all the trim areas. Thanks Jess and Jessica. What did I do...wave at them and take their picture of course.

Here we are right after the Easter Egg Hunt at the Knights Stadium. Each kid could run out on the field and fetch two eggs. I actually caught a foul ball, so that exciting.

Ethan was so excited about his treats. He ran to the very last eggs on the field. The grass was lovely.

Olive would not go out by herself, so uncle Jess was brave enough to venture out on the field. I sort of think he really wanted to walk out on the grass anyway.

This is the point on Olive's run around the bases that Ethan got to far ahead of her and she started screaming. A helper had to come to her rescue because she was frozen in tears and sobs.

This is the point that I said "oh dear" Ethan is getting to far ahead, she is going to freak out.

This is the point that the hand holding broke because Olive was not going as fast as Ethan wanted to go....I started to get a bad feeling.

Come on Olive, run.

Olive did not want to run the bases, but Ethan convinced her that he would hold her hand the entire way....ok I said.

Olive, having waited until the 9th inning finally got her ice cream.

Ethan got his fill of ice cream, hot dogs, cotton candy, cracker jacks....he would have waved down every vender man if he did not run out of money.

At this stadium they have other things for kids to do when sitting just is not working.

Merry go round.

Ethan chose the dinosaur of course.

Ethan is so brave, I looked up from where I was walking and saw Ethan in line for an autograph from the two mascots.

Cracker Jack prizes are not what they use to be.

They still taste the same however.

Ethan's second purchase from the walking vendors. He was so quick to flag them down had to turn a few away, because before I knew it another person was standing in front of Ethan doing a deal.

After a time out in the bathroom, things started off better at the ball game....much better.
