t-ball and cloud watching

Sometimes the innings just get a little to long....so resting in the ready position is allowed.

Olive passes the time by running up and down the hill.

Ethan during T-ball practice...I did not get any action shots of him...next time.

After school the kids like to play outside because it is light longer and the weather is nice, so they usually spin themselves silly on the play set.

Mia

The kids have taken to looking at the clouds to find shapes and animals and things.

Look right there mom, a bunny...

I guess this is why mom always tells us to wear our sunglasses while we do this.

Ethan look look...is usually how this game goes.

YES, we finally got a mini-van.....this is all you get to see of it unless you come for a visit and then we can take EVERYONE for a ride at the same time.

Flowers for Uncle Karl

Both yellow, blue and purple irises
I know that besides Jeremy the next person just as eager to see their flowers bloom is Uncle Karl...so I had to pass along some of the flowers blooming in our yard.

English Rose

Knock out Roses, I have no idea why this looks so funny, oh well.

Azalea

Spirea

Dogwood

Jasmine

Pansy are soon to be replaced by the summer flowers. They last all winter, and are so pretty and always blooming, I hate to see them go.

Crocus
Uncle Karl, I think you need to move down here so you can be an around the season gardener!!

The Knights Game Easter Weekend

So I realized that this uploaded all backward. This is the end of my weekend with Jess and Jessica....so you will get the story from the end to the start.

Here Jess is mowing our lawn. I think it just warmed him up for mowing season in WI.

Jessica could not let Jess do all the work, she did all the trim areas. Thanks Jess and Jessica. What did I do...wave at them and take their picture of course.

Here we are right after the Easter Egg Hunt at the Knights Stadium. Each kid could run out on the field and fetch two eggs. I actually caught a foul ball, so that exciting.

Ethan was so excited about his treats. He ran to the very last eggs on the field. The grass was lovely.

Olive would not go out by herself, so uncle Jess was brave enough to venture out on the field. I sort of think he really wanted to walk out on the grass anyway.

This is the point on Olive's run around the bases that Ethan got to far ahead of her and she started screaming. A helper had to come to her rescue because she was frozen in tears and sobs.

This is the point that I said "oh dear" Ethan is getting to far ahead, she is going to freak out.

This is the point that the hand holding broke because Olive was not going as fast as Ethan wanted to go....I started to get a bad feeling.

Come on Olive, run.

Olive did not want to run the bases, but Ethan convinced her that he would hold her hand the entire way....ok I said.

Olive, having waited until the 9th inning finally got her ice cream.

Ethan got his fill of ice cream, hot dogs, cotton candy, cracker jacks....he would have waved down every vender man if he did not run out of money.

At this stadium they have other things for kids to do when sitting just is not working.

Merry go round.

Ethan chose the dinosaur of course.

Ethan is so brave, I looked up from where I was walking and saw Ethan in line for an autograph from the two mascots.

Cracker Jack prizes are not what they use to be.

They still taste the same however.

Ethan's second purchase from the walking vendors. He was so quick to flag them down had to turn a few away, because before I knew it another person was standing in front of Ethan doing a deal.

After a time out in the bathroom, things started off better at the ball game....much better.

Easter day

The Bakers, Perry, Danielle, Luke and Colin.
The Hoff mans, Kori, Ethan, Olive and baby....Jeremy was in Italy.

Kari and Jack, and baby. Dave was just hiding.

Collin enjoying some drink.
Kirsten was playing keep away with Ethan. Kyle wanted to join in, but man those big kids are fast.
Collin

Always happy.

Jessica and Jess were down for a visit. At least they were happy...

Tim Spolar was sporting lilies....cute

Kirsten was in true princess form, you know real princesses love to run wild in their dresses.

Luke thought all of this running around was non-sense.

Jack and Kyle were in style!!!
They may be mad at their mom's some day, but man were they cute.

Jack is always smiling, what a happy boy. I hope number 2 is just as happy.
